RE-WILDING: Their hopes of survival had looked slim after the traumatic start to their lives. But the orphaned baby elephants thrived and grew up strong thanks to their rescuer’s incredible love, care and attention.

FUTURE FOR ELEPHANTS: In the elephant orphanage ZEN (Zimbabwe Elephant Nursery) orphaned elephant babies are raised and later released into the wild. In cooperation with ZEN, Future for Elephants have started their “Care for Elephants“ program.

BOOK REVIEW: Wild is Life – Reaching Out is about an animal sanctuary that has grown out of the turmoil that swept through Zimbabwe a few years before the millennium – an inspiring, intimate photographic record.
