Wild is Life Trust and ZEN
A big win for our little Winston! 🐘🍼💪🏾We are delighted to report that the latest addition to our Pandw Masuie herd has found his feet with his new family and has been drinking his milk bottles and out with the herd throughout the day. We are often asked if elephants accept any elephant into their herd and the answer is that they do! In reality, it’s up to the “joining” elephant if they feel comfortable and want to stay with the herd… So we’re happy to share that Winnie is loved and welcome in his new family! @ifaw #wildislife_zen #onebyone #cultureofcare See MoreSee Less

Oh my Romeo, what lovely long horns you have now! 😍😎🦌And he really does. Eland horns are some of the most impressive in the antelope world, growing slowly year by year in a beautiful spiral. A fully grown male can carry horns up to about 120cm long, thick at the base and elegantly twisted like nature took her time and enjoyed the process. Here’s a little twist you might love… Female eland also have horns. Theirs are usually slimmer and slightly shorter, but just as graceful. In eland society, both strength and softness get to wear a crown.#wildislife_zen #onebyone #cultureofcare See MoreSee Less
