Who We Support: Wild is Life zimbabwe
In 2015, Wild is Life USA was established as an extension of Wild is Life Zimbabwe, with a singular goal: to secure the crucial funding required to sustain the organization’s vital mission. While we’ve made significant strides, our journey stands at a pivotal juncture, demanding increased resources to persist in our mission of rescuing, rehabilitating, and rewilding Zimbabwe’s elephants and rhinos.
Join the Founding Member Rhino Circle
You have the opportunity to join us at the very beginning of our journey! Your name will be memorialized in our Rhino Founders Circle if you agree now to a recurring monthly donation of just $100, or an annual one-time donation of $1,000.
Commit to a recurring monthly donation of $250 a month, and you will also be put immediately on our VIP guest list for an “invitation only”, pre-launch opportunity to book a stay at our intimate Kavira Forest Lodge, a place heretofore never experienced by visitors and where our future rhino program is unfolding.

A 501(c) organization is a nonprofit entity that is recognized by the United States Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as tax-exempt. This means that the organization is exempt from paying federal income tax on its earnings. These organizations are often established for charitable, religious, educational, scientific, or other specific purposes that benefit the community or the public.
You can verify an organization’s 501(c) status by checking the IRS database or asking the organization directly. Legitimate 501(c) organizations are required to provide their tax-exempt status information upon request.
When you make a donation to a qualified 501(c) organization, you may be eligible to claim a tax deduction for your contribution. These deductions can reduce your taxable income, potentially lowering the amount of income tax you owe to the IRS.
No, not all donations are tax-deductible. To claim a tax deduction, your donation must meet certain criteria. It must be made to a qualified 501(c) organization, and you must itemize your deductions when filing your federal income tax return
The amount you can deduct depends on the specific tax laws and regulations in effect for the tax year in question. Typically, you can deduct the full value of your cash donations, up to a certain percentage of your adjusted gross income. Non-cash donations, such as property or stocks, have their own set of rules for determining their deductible value.
